Kitchen Kabaret

The Kitchen Kabaret is one of my favorite Disney shows ever. The Kitchen Kabaret was in the lower level of The Land pavilion at EPCOT. This fabulous musical show tried to teach us about a balanced diet. The cast included Bonnie Appetit (our hostess), the Kitchen Krackpots (the house band), Mr. Dairy Goods and his Stars of the Milky Way (Miss Cheese, Miss Yogurt, and Miss Ice Cream), The Cereal Sisters (Rennie Rice, Connie Corn, and Mairzy Oats), the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Hamm & Eggz (vaudeville comedy duo), and the Colander Combo and Fiesta Fruit. I memorized this show years ago and can still recite pretty much the entire thing from memory (yikes! too much information). The Kitchen Kabaret ran from 1982 to 1994 when it was re-imagined into the much less inspired Food Rocks!. Food Rocks later closed and this area is now part of Soarin'.
