A Pirate's Life For Me

Hunchback Of Notre Dame Commemorative Watch

I picked up this fantastic watch and box for a song at a clearance store back in the late 90's.  The watch itself was very nice but I really like the resin box designed to look like a book.

WDW College & International Programs

I think I got this t-shirt when I worked a kite flying event at EPCOT in 1995 or 1996.  It was great to get paid to fly kites all day.

1999 WDW Marathon Sweatshirt

Happy marathon weekend.  By chance I found an old sweatshirt while digging through my storage unit yesterday.  I'm not really sure how I got this sweatshirt (though I know it was free).  I was working at the Rainforest Cafe in 1999 and perhaps I worked at a booth for the restaurant during the marathon.  That's the only reason I can think of why I would have gotten one.

I've yet to actually visit the California Adventure Park, but I bought this t-shirt at the Disneyana Convention in 2000.

A whole group of us wore this t-shirt to the Magic Kingdom during an event at the Disneyana Convention in either 1999 or 2000.

Today would have been Annette Funicello's 71st birthday so I thought I would share something not related to the parks.  In the 1960's Whitman published a series of Annette mysteries.  As far as I have been able to determine there are five books in the series and I've got all of them.  In addition to those I have a novelization of the Misadventures of Merlin Jones.  All six books are shown below.

An early treasure of mine from Disneyland is this coloring book which I picked up sometime in the mid-eighties, I believe.  It would be at least twenty years before I would actually make it to Anaheim.
