Some fresh pictures of a few busts.  I did notice during this visit that the statue of Carol Burnett pictured in the previous post was gone from the rear planter where it used to stand.

Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza

Located between Sounds Dangerous and the American Idol Experience, the Plaza features busts of people who had a large impact on the history of television.  I believe the Plaza opened in the fall of 1994.  It was dedicated as part of the press event that year.  I was there for the dedication and if I recall correctly Milton Berle was present and possibly other celebrities.

In this photo a couple of busts are visible.  I believe they are of the following television icons (from left to right) Danny Thomas, Milton Berle, Carol Burnett and Sid Caesar.
