Haunted Mansion Postcards

Three postcards of the Haunted Mansion today.  The first is postmarked 1982.  The other two are unused but date from the 70's or early 80's.

Cruising The Rivers Of America
The majestic Admiral Joe Fowler, an authentic steam-powered sternheeler, sets sail from Liberty Square on a scenic cruise of the frontier "Rivers of America".

I love this view of the Haunted Mansion.  There are no obstructions or additions - no queue canopy, no next-gen queue - just a simple, beautiful structure.  It's also neat in these old images to see the park before the trees grew in.  Look how the Mansion towers over everything else including the treetops.  It really gives it an imposing look.

The Haunted Mansion
Hovering over a riverbank, in "deathly splendor," is the mysterious Haunted Mansion...an active retirement home for 999 happy ghosts, ghouls, and goblins "dying" to meet visitors.

The Haunted Mansion
A "trembling trio" of deceased musicians strikes up a graveside melody...one of the Haunted Mansion's spectre-filled surprises in store for courageous guests.
