Canada

It seemed like an appropriate time to post some pictures from the Canada pavillion at Epcot.  The Canada pavillion has two great things going for it.  First, it is just beautiful and offers unlimited opportunities for great family photos with dramatic or serene backdrops.  Second, the fantastic Le Cellier restaurant which is one of my favorites at any park.  Today's pictures focus on the Hotel Du Canada structure (housing a gift shop and Le Cellier) which is based on the Chateau Laurier in Ottowa from a series of vantage points.

Two shots from World Showcase Promenade.

Looking out from the grotto which houses the Circlevision 360 film "O Canada!"

  1. Wow! I've always appreciated the beauty of the area with stones and water, but I really overlooked the architecture of the Canada exhibit. Of course, I should not underestimate the effect of your quality photography upon my present awe.

Ranney and I almost ate at Le Cellier on Thursday night. I have never been. After class, we took advantage of his holiday season pass (that expired that day) by playing miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens (Fun! Ranney scored several holes-in-one.) and visiting EPCOT to ride Soarin' for our first time.

Sadly, we opted to go home before becoming too exhausted. I had to meet two Friday deadlines, and he always has something he wants or needs to do. Instead of Le Cellier, we went to get take-out Mexican food from Bronco in Winter Haven.

Disgusting! The new management is ruining the place. Bad attitude, slow service, and food quality ranging from okay (Ranney's) to yucky (mine); so not worth the cost!
