1987 WDW Vacation Information Booklet
Take a step back in time and rediscover descriptions of some long lost Walt Disney World locations and some pricing structures that are even more removed from our present consciousness. Disney would send these out in the mail if you sent them a letter asking for vacation planning information.

Mike Fink Keel Boats
After a Twitter poll on extinct attractions today brought it to mind, I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of the Mike Fink Keel Boats. I fondly remember cruising the Rivers of America aboard these two level vessels. It was always more fun to sit on the upper level/roof than inside because it offered better views.

Evening in Japan
Probably my favorite place in Japan, during the day, is the quiet patio by Yakitori House. At night it's even more lovely and relaxing.

50's Prime Time Cafe
Step into mom's kitchen, pull a chair up to the shiny formica table, tune-in to your favorite sitcom of days past and chow down on some comfort food.

Sorcery In The Sky
A few pictures of Sorcery In The Sky. These were all taken without a tripod in the pre-digital era so please excuse their general lack of quality. I really miss these fireworks.
Sorcerer Mickey sits atop the Chinese Theater after the finale.
This shot was actually taken from the Buena Vista Drive bridge over by the Boardwalk. If it wasn't jittery you could make out the main entrance of the Studios and some of the neon of Hollywood Boulevard.
Another shot across the lake.
