Focusing today on the country village garden portion of the pavilion. I wonder how many people walk right past here and never pause to admire the tranquil beauty of this area. Most of these pics are fairly current but there are a couple from the early 90's.

Palm & Magnolia Golf Courses Postcards
My family went to Disney World and all I got were these postcards from the golf course. Not the castle, not the Haunted Mansion, but an expanse of lawn. Thanks a lot! I've never seen grass before.
These come from the earlier years of the resort. During this period, the reverse of the card usually had a little doodle which represented the realm to which the card was relevant. These are no exception as they have a little golf bag and luggage doodle.
Palm Course
The Walt Disney World Golf Club features two 18-hole championship courses - the Palm and the Magnolia. Top-ranked touring professionals challenge these courses in the P.G.A.-sponsored Walt Disney World Open.

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
As the Swisskapolka continues to play, we continue our tour.
More fresh water on its way up.
What a view from up here. I can see all the way into the future!
Tree and jungle beyond.
This family had no need to go to the gym. They could just walk through their house all day.
Here we are in the master bedroom. Cozy.
A lantern burns to light the way home.
Civilization encroaches on our jungle paradise.

Contemporary Resort Do Not Disturb
Here we have a couple of Do Not Disturb signs from the Contemporary. The first one I probably obtained about 1991. The second one I believe is from somewhere between 1998 and 2000.

Haunted Mansion Postcards
Three postcards of the Haunted Mansion today. The first is postmarked 1982. The other two are unused but date from the 70's or early 80's.
Cruising The Rivers Of America
The majestic Admiral Joe Fowler, an authentic steam-powered sternheeler, sets sail from Liberty Square on a scenic cruise of the frontier "Rivers of America".
I love this view of the Haunted Mansion. There are no obstructions or additions - no queue canopy, no next-gen queue - just a simple, beautiful structure. It's also neat in these old images to see the park before the trees grew in. Look how the Mansion towers over everything else including the treetops. It really gives it an imposing look.
The Haunted Mansion
Hovering over a riverbank, in "deathly splendor," is the mysterious Haunted Mansion...an active retirement home for 999 happy ghosts, ghouls, and goblins "dying" to meet visitors.
The Haunted Mansion
A "trembling trio" of deceased musicians strikes up a graveside melody...one of the Haunted Mansion's spectre-filled surprises in store for courageous guests.
