Discovery Island

Discovery Island was a zoological park in Bay Lake between the Contemporary and Fort Wilderness.  One obtained access to the island by boat.  I only made it to Discovery Island once before it closed.  These pictures are from that trip in September 1990.

This is a fun t-shirt I bought in the late 80's at the Magic Kingdom.  Of course, it used to be black but after a million or so washes the color has faded a little.

Adventureland Steel Band
