Adventureland Steel Band

I didn't even know this 1976 record existed before I found it on ebay several years ago but as soon as I saw it I knew it had to be mine.  It's got to be in my top three Disney records.  I really miss these sounds in Caribbean Plaza, where now we have soundtrack music from the Pirates of the Caribbean films.  I've been a fan of Steel Drum Music for as long as I can remember and probably gained my appreciation for it from seeing this band in Adventureland when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's.

Legends Of Hollywood

Based on the Academy Theater in Los Angeles which you can see here.  All but one one of the interior pictures below are from last month.  Somehow over the years I never took any photos of this facade.  I don't recall the facade having the white and tan two-tone paint job that it has now.  I thought it was all white like the original building. 

A Musical Souvenir of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

This fantastic 1973 record album is one of two twelve inch picture discs.  The other  was a Musical Souvenir of America on Parade released in 1975 to accompany Disney's bicentennial celebration and parade.  I do not posess that one, yet.  I actually managed to get this one about five years ago on eBay for a very resonable sum.  There were also a couple of seven inch picture disc records released as well covering It's A Small World, the Electrical Water Pageant, and the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Only $4.98!  What a bargain!
