I wasn't sure if I was even going to post these pictures but upon looking back on some I had posted from right after the park opened I thought it would be fun to have a comparison.  Take a look at these and then check out these other pictures to see the difference that 20+ years can make.

15 Years of Magic Brochures

These two ticket information brochures were handed out at the Auto Plaza I believe.  One of them is from 1986 and the other from 1987.

Injun Joe's Cave

The entrance.  Be careful, it's dark and scary in there!

Not so scary with the camera flash.

Much more foreboding this way.  It looks like a scene from the Goonies.

Crossing the bottomless pit can be a treacherous experience.  Better use the handrails.

The American Adventure

Today some exterior pictures of the least visually interesting pavilion in World Showcase.  Wait, that wasn't very good salesmanship for today's post.  Let me try again.  Look at these amazing perspectives of the most stunning and impressive of the World Showcase pavilions, The American Adventure.

The oldest picture of the bunch, this probably dates from 1984 or so.

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room

Saturday I got to see the "new" Enchanted Tiki Room.  It was so nice to be able to see this show again even if it was missing some things.  Who would have thought the absence of a fountain could make such a difference.  Everything looked great however.

Disney-MGM Studios Main Entrance Ticket Booths

Modeled after the fantastic Pan Pacific Auditorium, which burned to the ground in 1989 shortly after the Studio opened, the streamline moderne ticket booths are a fitting portal to the entrance of the park and our travel back in time to the Hollywood Boulevard of yesteryear.  Incidentally, Disney has now replicated this look again at the entrance to the California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort.
