Expedition Everest At Night

The thrilling conclusion of Everest at Night.

No need for a Fastpass tonight.  We walked right on several times.

After some serious manipulation I finally got this picture light enough that you could at least see the main peak of the mountain.

What's happened to the tracks?

Don't remember where on the ride I took this one.  This ride, while fun during the day, is way better at night and very disorienting as everything is pitch black.

Main Street Market House

This first shot of the Markethouse is from the mid to late 80's as it was taken with a 110 camera and I switched to 35mm about 1988-89.  The second and third pictures are from sometime in the 90's and the last is from June 2006.

The Great Movie Ride - Hollywood Hills

Finally the magic theater doors open and it's our turn to pass through them.  We find ourselves in the Hollywood Hills waiting to board our vehicles.  Lots of pictures of the marquee here in various states of their lighting cycle.  The first four are from the last year or so the first two are from the pre-digital era and I don't recall in what year they were taken.

A little Typoon Lagoon in celebration of the parks 22nd birthday this week.  It makes me feel old to think that I first visited Typhoon Lagoon within the first couple of weeks of its opening.

Expedition Everest At Night

More from my evening at the Animal Kingdom.  We start with these shots of Everest around dusk.  After taking these we went into Finding Nemo: The Musical (which was another first for me since I rarely spend my time seeing stage shows).

After leaving Nemo it was time for an Expedition!
